Directions

The Rockwell Museum is located inside Old City Hall, just steps away from Historic Market Street in downtown Corning, NY, and under a mile from the main highway. The neighborhood surrounding the Museum features specialty eateries and unique shopping boutiques.

From the North
I-90E to Exit 46 (at Rochester) to I-390S to I-86E (NY-17E) to Exit 46. At end of the ramp, take a right onto 414/Center Way, crossing Bisco Bridge. Center Way turns into Cedar Street, and The Rockwell is on the right, on the corner of Denison Parkway and Cedar Street.

From the West

From the South

From the East

From the greater New York City area
Take the George Washington Bridge to I-80W to I-380W to I-81N to I-86W (NY-17W). Take exit 46 and turn left at end of the ramp. Follow the signs to The Rockwell Museum.

Parking

The Rockwell strives to ensure full and safe participation for all.

  • Free parking is located directly behind the Museum. Additional public parking is available in municipal lots where City of Corning parking fees apply.
  • Visit us via the free Museum Shuttle, which provides service between The Corning Museum of Glass, The Rockwell Museum and Market Street. Find more information about the Museum Shuttle online.

Accessibility

  • Museum and Art Lab entrances are wheelchair and stroller accessible. The galleries and outdoor terrace are accessible and can be reached by elevator. However, not all doors are on power assist. Accessible restrooms are located on the mezzanine level.
  • Manual wheelchairs and umbrella strollers are available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis; ask any Museum staff person for assistance. The Rockwell also welcomes visitors with personal mobility aids, including walkers, wheelchairs and scooters.
  • The Rockwell allows visitors to borrow a lightweight and portable Museum stool, allowing you to take a seat wherever you want to linger.
  • Benches are found throughout the Museum.
  • All visitors, including those who are blind or have low vision, are invited to use the free audio guide available at the Admission Desk.
  • We extend complimentary admission to Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) who accompany guests with disabilities.
  • Service animals are welcome under ADA guidelines.
  • Changing tables are available in all restrooms.
  • Nursing mothers are welcome to breastfeed anywhere in the Museum.
  • Museum visitors can review our Social Story to know what to expect during their museum visit and Teachers can prepare students for a tour with our School Tour Social Story.
