For members enthusiastic about new experiences, fresh ideas and emerging artists: The Rockwell Ambassadors is a membership group for young adults and people who share these interests. Connect with others while contributing to The Rockwell’s work for arts and culture in our region.

Ambassador Membership benefits can be added on for an extra $30 to any base-level membership to include:

  • Invitations to Ambassador-only activities such as private tours, inspired excursions and opportunities to meet visiting artists
  • Experiencing the Museum’s work up-close, including an invitation to the annual Director’s Party just for Ambassadors
  • Professional development and volunteer opportunities with the region’s only Smithsonian Affiliate
  • Connections with community leaders, including invitations to select Silver Dollar Society events

What do Rockwell Ambassadors do? Some past gatherings have included:

  • Creative menus like the Grilled Cheese Extravaganza
  • End-of-summer bonfire
  • Excursions to sites in nature inspired by Rockwell collection artwork
  • Hands-on printmaking workshops on the Museum’s terrace in honor of Andy Warhol’s birthday
  • Meet and greets with artists through the ANTIGRAVITY series for contemporary perspectives

Rockwell Ambassador Steering Committee

This welcoming group is shaped by the Ambassador Steering Committee which helps generate new Ambassador experiences and spread the word to prospective members.
