The Rockwell Museum Hosts Student Artwork from Corning Children’s Center
The Rockwell Museum’s Admissions Lobby is now filled with colorful works of art created by students at Corning Children’s Center. The Rockwell is one of many locations across the region to display student artwork throughout the month of March. The entire community is invited to view the student artwork on view in The Rockwell’s Admissions Lobby. The exhibit will be on view March 1 – April 4, 2016.
Each year, March marks National Youth Art Month; and, each year, The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes coordinates this three-county-wide exhibit. National Youth Art Month is a month of celebration, awareness, and advocacy for art in our schools and excellent art education for area youth. With the participation of 60 different schools and more than 50 educatiors, this year, close to 1700 students have artwork in this years’ public exhibits.
