The Rockwell Museum in Corning, NY is Open today, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In collaboration with Corning-Painted Post High School and art teachers Sharron Holland and Megan Wukovitz, The Rockwell Museum presents a special exhibition of artwork created by International Baccalaureate (IB) Visual Arts program students.
During the school year, students visited The Rockwell and other regional museums to study and draw inspiration for their own works of art. As part of the program, the students curated and installed their own student art showcase.
The IB Visual Arts Program supports the notion that art is an integral part of everyday life, permeating all levels of human creativity, expression, communication and understanding. It is a thought-provoking course that encourages students to challenge their own creative and cultural expectations and boundaries.
