Rockwell Reframed: Director’s Choice

From August 29, 2026 to January 4, 2027

Location: Special Projects Gallery (Floor 2)

Rockwell Reframed: Director’s Choice brings together a diverse selection of works from the collection, chosen by Executive Director Erin M. Coe, who joined the Museum in 2025. Spanning a range of artists, media, and historical moments, the exhibition highlights recent acquisitions alongside works that reflect the collection’s core strengths and institutional priorities.

Through a carefully curated selection, visitors are invited to experience the collection from a new perspective and discover connections that shape the Museum’s mission while offering insight into the Director’s vision for the future.

Reframe / Re-Arrange

As a special addition to Director’s Choice, we invite visitors to step into the role of curator and build your own exhibition. Using reproductions of works of art from The Rockwell Museum’s collection—alongside reproductions of works on loan by Jeffrey Gibson, Raven Halfmoon, and Cannupa Hanska Luger—visitors are invited to choose, place, and pair artworks in ways that feel meaningful to them and reflect on their perspectives.
