TRL! Music on the Terrace Featuring Maddy Walsh Trio

Help us celebrate The Rockwell’s 50th Anniversary at this year’s TRL! Music on the Terrace Series, a special season honoring the Museum through live music, cocktails, and art! 

In celebration of this milestone year, the TRL! Music on the Terrace series will take you on a musical journey through the decades. Each month features a live band performing hits inspired by a different era, creating a nostalgic “through the eras” experience on the Terrace. From the sounds of the 70s and 80s in June, to late 80s and 90s in July, and early 2000s and beyond in August, each band will bring a unique nod to the Museum’s history and create a vibrant summer vibe. 

Enjoy light refreshments and specialty cocktails inspired by works from the Museum’s collection and current exhibitions.

Maddy Walsh (front person of nationally touring, five-piece “Moxy Rock” band Maddy Walsh & The Blind Spots) has formed a trio with Blind Spots’ guitarist / songwriter, Mike Suave, and the band’s backing vocalist / keyboardist, Rozlyn Menachof. The project is a stripped-down, softer version of MW&TBS and includes some Blind Spots material, songs from Walsh’s solo records, and some choice covers that feature lush three-part harmonies. Where the full band offers a “dance party love’splosion” (in Walsh’s own words), the trio offers an opportunity to tune in to the complexity of the lyrics and the virtuosity of her voice.
