Lil Rockwell | Stroller Walk: Texture Everywhere

Meet us at the PRC for a fun walk down Market Street to the Art Lab! Become a texture detective as we walk and collect cool texture rubbings from places along Market Street. Enjoy a story with Miss Sue from the Southeast Steuben County Library and learn about different ways that artists show texture! Stay after the program to explore the self-guided activities in the Art Lab and exciting exhibitions at The Rockwell Museum.  

Lil Rockwell creates opportunities to explore art-viewing and artmaking for our littlest visitors and their caregivers. During different months, you’ll find either an art class suitable for children 18 mo-5 years; a story hour for children of all ages; or a stroller walk, where even infants can participate! Lil Rockwell occurs on the first Thursday of every month except for September. This program is designed to engage your little ones through art exploration; and for the grown-ups–we have coffee!
