Lil Rockwell | Storytime: Animals in the Picture

See All Events

Thursday, July 2, 2026

10:00 am - 11:00 am

Location: KIDS ROCKWELL Art Lab

Free for children and their caregivers | No registration required

Come to the Art Lab and enjoy a story with Miss Sue from the Southeast Steuben County Library about animals! Stay after the program to explore the self-guided activities in the Art Lab and all of the animal artwork at The Rockwell Museum. Do a special Art Hunt and see how many animals you can find!

Lil Rockwell creates opportunities to explore art-viewing and artmaking for our littlest visitors and their caregivers. During different months, you’ll find either an art class suitable for children 18 mo-5 years; a story hour for children of all ages; or a stroller walk, where even infants can participate! Lil Rockwell occurs on the first Thursday of every month except for September. This program is designed to engage your little ones through art exploration; and for the grown-ups–we have coffee!

An adult is reading a group of children a story.
