See All Events

Thursday, August 7, 2025

10:00 am - 11:00 am

Location: KIDS ROCKWELL Art Lab

Free for children and their caregivers | No registration required

Rain Date: Friday, August 8

Meet at Nonnie Hood Parents’ Resource Center for a stroll down Market Street. We’ll play I-Spy while we walk and explore the different colors and shapes around us! Our walk will end at the Art Lab, where we will enjoy a story with Miss Sue from the Southeast Steuben County Library. Stay after the program to explore the self-guided activities in the Art Lab and exhibitions in The Rockwell Museum.

Lil Rockwell creates opportunities to explore art-viewing and artmaking for our littlest visitors and their caregivers. During different months, you’ll find either an art class suitable for children 18 mo- 5 years; a story hour for children of all ages; or a stroller walk, where even infants can participate! Lil Rockwell occurs on the first Thursday of every month except for September. This program is designed to engage your little ones through art exploration; and for the grown-ups–we have coffee!
