10:00 am - 11:00 am
Location: KIDS ROCKWELL Art Lab
Free and open for children and their caregivers | No registration required
Celebrate Native American Heritage Month at the Art Lab! Enjoy a story about Native Americans with Miss Sue from the Southeast Steuben County Library, then create a project inspired by the many beautiful, beaded artworks in The Rockwell Museum. Stay after the program to explore the other self-guided activities in the Art Lab and exhibitions in The Rockwell Museum.
Lil Rockwell creates opportunities to explore art-viewing and artmaking for our littlest visitors and their caregivers. During different months, you’ll find either an art class suitable for children 18 mo- 5 years; a story hour for children of all ages; or a stroller walk, where even infants can participate! Lil Rockwell occurs on the first Thursday of every month except for September. This program is designed to engage your little ones through art exploration; and for the grown-ups–we have coffee!
