Location: KIDS ROCKWELL Art Lab

Free for children and their caregivers, no registration required
Location: KIDS ROCKWELL Art Lab

Our year-long celebration of color continues with a rainbow of delicious foods! Enjoy a story about food with Miss Sue from the Southeast Steuben County Library, then stay to explore the “dining out” interactive activity in our summer exhibition! Stay after the program to explore the other self-guided activities in the Art Lab and exhibitions in The Rockwell Museum.

Lil Rockwell creates opportunities to explore art-viewing and artmaking for our littlest visitors and their caregivers. During different months, you’ll find either an art class suitable for children 18 mo-5 years; a story hour for children of all ages; or a stroller walk, where even infants can participate! Lil Rockwell occurs on the first Thursday of every month except for September. This program is designed to engage your little ones through art exploration; and for the grown-ups–we have coffee!

An adult is reading a group of children a story.
