This tour offers a special preview of the artworks featured in The Rockwell Museum’s 50th anniversary catalog, which will be published later. Guests will get an up-close look at selected works from the permanent collection that tell the story of the Museum’s evolution, from Bob and Hertha Rockwell’s founding collection of fine American art and artistic objects of material culture to its recent efforts to widen the story of American art to include more diverse artworks and voices. This is a unique opportunity to hear the stories behind the works before the catalog’s official release.
