Location: Online
Free for Rockwell Members | Registration required to receive Zoom link
Kick off The Rockwell Museum’s 50th anniversary with an inspiring virtual talk featuring Associate Curator Katherine Banerjee as she explores the Museum’s rich and storied history. Learn how Bob and Hertha Rockwell’s personal collection, once displayed in their family department store, evolved into a public art museum now recognized as a Smithsonian Affiliate.
Discover how the Museum has continued to honor its founders’ passion for art, storytelling, and community through five decades of collecting American art and amplifying diverse perspectives.
The Rockwell Museum Art History Club offers members an opportunity to learn more about the museum’s exhibitions, new acquisitions, and other artworks within the permanent collection.
Each Art History Club session is hosted via Zoom and features an engaging presentation by a Rockwell staff member or guest speaker, followed by a discussion where members can share insights, ask questions, and connect through art — all from the comfort of their own home.
A Zoom link with simple instructions on how to join from your computer, mobile phone, or tablet will be provided in your confirmation email.
