Entrances
Museum and Art Lab entrances are wheelchair and stroller accessible. At the Museum, the galleries and outdoor terrace are accessible and can be reached by elevator. The Art Lab has a short, steep incline at the front entrance. Many doors, including the Museum’s main entrance and restrooms, have power-assist functionality.
Restrooms
At The Rockwell, accessible restrooms are located on the mezzanine level, including a caregiver and gender-neutral restroom with an adult-sized, universal changing station. Restrooms at the Art Lab are on the same level as the main activities.
Wheelchairs, Rollators, Strollers
Manual wheelchairs, rollators, and umbrella strollers are available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis; ask any Museum staff person for assistance. The Rockwell also welcomes visitors with personal mobility aids, including walkers, wheelchairs, and scooters.
Seating
The Rockwell offers visitors a lightweight and portable Museum stool to borrow, allowing you to take a seat wherever you want to linger. Benches, some with backs and some without, are found throughout the Museum.
