Inspired by this season’s spotlight exhibition, Robert Weingarten | Palettes, discover a fascinating display of paint palettes from five regional artists—each one offering a rare glimpse into the tools and colors that shape their creative process.
These palettes and work surfaces—ranging from the meticulously tidy to the beautifully chaotic—reveal the intimate, personal nature of each artist’s studio practice.
Featured artists include Bridget Bossart van Otterloo, Candy Sankey, Victoria Hamilton, David Higgins, and Gina Pfleegor.
Art studios are spaces of exploration where creative risks, improvisation, and even failure are part of the journey. Artists experiment with new shades and tints, alter ingredient ratios, explore textures, and test how different materials interact.
