International Baccalaureate Visual Arts Corning-Painted Post High School Student Exhibition

From April 2, 2026 to May 3, 2026

Location: Student Gallery (Floor 2)

This exhibition is on view in the Student Gallery and Education Center. The Education Center is open Saturdays and Sundays, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

In collaboration with Corning-Painted Post High School and art teacher Megan Saxton Wukovitz, The Rockwell Museum presents an exhibition of student work from the International Baccalaureate (IB) Visual Arts Programme.

In this college-level course, students explored new materials, questioned assumptions, and documented their process, emerging as confident, creative artists and keen interpreters of visual culture. Working collaboratively on the installation with their peers, the students functioned as curators and exhibition designers, writing labels, and constructing display elements. This exhibition is a capstone for each student to present a cohesive body of work that frames their perspective and tells their story.

“The IB Visual Arts Exhibition is far more than a display of finished pieces; it is a culmination of the students’ growth as artists and celebrates their artistic journey as exemplified in their journals on display. Through the process of curating, articulating intent, and presenting their work publicly, students learn to see themselves not just as learners, but as practicing artists with a voice that matters.” – Megan Saxton Wukovitz
