Facility Rentals

The Rockwell Museum provides several unique spaces to hold small receptions, dinners, professional conferences, lectures and corporate events. Attendees to events will have the opportunity to view an exquisite collection comprised of art about America featuring Native American and western art, sculpture and landscape paintings that help shape the American experience.

The Museum mission is to preserve and protect the works within the collection. Therefore, certain guidelines have been established for events held at the Museum. These guidelines are included in a rental agreement that the Museum will provide to event sponsors prior to the event. Please note that if the renter desires to serve alcohol at an event, the Museum must have at least 20 days’ notice prior to the event.

The Museum works to support businesses and community groups in the region and has a policy to restrict certain types of functions held at the Museum.

The Museum does not host:

  • Wedding ceremonies, receptions or rehearsal dinners
  • Political or religious events
  • Class reunions
  • Fundraising events

Members Gallery

Members’ Gallery

Capacity: 14 meeting
Price: $200*

This gallery serves as a well-equipped conference room exhibiting original works of American art.


Orientation Gallery

Capacity: 50 reception
Price: $600*

This gallery includes the freshly renovated Museum Store, lobby and rotunda area that greets the Museum’s visitors upon arrival.  This space is perfect for a small reception.  Upon prior approval, the Museum Store can remain open exclusively for your guests.

Education Center

Education Center

Capacity: 40 meeting, 65 reception, 50 dinner
Price: $600*

This large space is utilized as the Museum’s classroom area and does not display any works of art. Large windows in the space provide plenty of natural light making this room suitable for lectures, larger meetings or seminars.

The Lodge

The Southwest Lodge

Capacity: 60 reception, 40 dinner, 45 meeting
Price: $800*

This unique gallery in The Rockwell invites visitors into a warm, intimate setting of a Southwest lodge to view works by some of the most famous Taos artists.  It is enhanced by a stone fireplace, Western-style furniture and light fixtures.



Capacity: 120 reception
Price: $1,500*

The Terrace is a large, outdoor, rooftop patio that overlooks downtown Corning and provides a beautiful view of the area’s surrounding hills.

Third Floor

Visions of America Gallery

Capacity: 100 reception, 50 dinner, 80 meeting
Price: $1,800*

This space is reserved for rental by the Museum’s high-end donors ($2,000 and above).  The third-floor gallery is the Museum’s largest; it displays works by many of the best-known artists in the Museum’s collection.


Entire Building

Capacity: TBD
Price: $4,000

Approval from the Executive Director is required for all events that require use of the entire building.
