Working with art teachers Wendy Brubaker, Maria Goldwyn, Sharron Holland, and Birgitt Wolf Peterson, students infused their pieces with personal insights and symbolism connected to the selected works of art in the collection.
Last fall, approximately 110 students from seven classes visited the Museum to explore the galleries, study diverse media and techniques, and examine how art reflects history, culture, and shared human experiences. Through experimentation with materials, color, and artistic processes, students investigated how artists use visual language to shape perspectives and evoke emotions.
By engaging students in creating and exhibiting their own work, The Rockwell aims to deepen their connection to art and culture, sparking creativity and empowering the next generation of artists and innovators.
