The Rockwell is an invaluable place for learning, and your support via our Partners for Arts in Education program enables us to provide hands-on arts education to 6,000 students from over 25 area school districts. Often this is the first world-class museum experience for the students we reach.
Our work is incredibly cost effective, too. It costs just $500 for the Museum to supply a local classroom with:
Through Partners for Arts Education, our educators have the resources they need to develop and deliver museum programs directly in the classrooms of regional school districts, many of which have had their arts programming drastically reduced due to cutbacks in state funding. And, we work directly with classroom teachers to integrate arts programming into their curriculum.
The Rockwell is committed to supporting students, families and teachers by offering authentic art and cultural educational experiences, and our Partners in Arts Education program is a cornerstone of the local community and an extension of our local classrooms.
