Using pinch pots and support forms, participants will have the opportunity to make animated vessels that incorporate expressive features inspired by animals.  The possibilities are left to your imagination but could include pots that incorporate an animal’s head, face, or body.  Examples of historic ceramics will be presented to offer inspiration for your animated vessel.

Session One will focus on building and designing your pot; Session Two will focus on glazing the pieces using various colors and glaze-types.  The pots will be available later for pick up, after being kiln-fired.  Beginners and intermediate levels welcome, age 16 and up.
