Join us for our summer music series featuring live music and specialty cocktails inspired by a work of art from the Museum’s exhibition or collection.
Maddy Walsh (front person of nationally touring, five-piece Moxy Rock band Maddy Walsh & The Blind Spots) has formed a trio with Blind Spots’ guitarist / songwriter, Mike Suave, and the band’s backing vocalist / keyboardist, Rozlyn Menachof. The project is a stripped-down, softer version of MW&TBS and includes some Blind Spots material, songs from Walsh’s solo records, and some choice covers that feature lush three-part harmonies. Where the full band offers a “dance party love’splosion” (in Walsh’s own words), the trio offers an opportunity to tune in to the complexity of the lyrics and the virtuosity of her voice.
