    Using beads, a plastic canvas and needle, embroider a bird in the style of Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) women beaders. Traditional Native American beadwork from the Eastern Woodland region has extravagant designs influenced by the environment and fancy Victorian styles. Drawing inspiration from the upcoming exhibition, Treasures of Haudenosaunee Beadwork and from the natural world around you, create your own designs on your bird canvas and add a colorful ribbon to hang.
