Celebrate Pride with The Rockwell Museum during the month of June. Participate in the Corning and worldwide celebration of the LGBTQ+ community by engaging with art and arts experiences. The Rockwell is offering the following activities June 1 – 30: 

Pride Activities in June

  • Receive a Pride Free Admission Fan by attending the SoFLX Pride Festival on Saturday, June 8. Just show your Pride fan at the front desk for free admission for your entire group. Redeemable for free admission to both The Rockwell and the Corning Museum of Glass June 8 – 9.

  • Pick up a  Self-guided Pride Guide  featuring Queer artists in The Rockwell’s collection when you visit.

  • SoFLX Pride Festival on Saturday, June 8 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. in Downtown Corning, NY. Visit The Rockwell’s station on Market Street in front of the Art Lab to print a rainbow Mash-Up of a Guardian of Creativity creature inspired by Shannah Warwick’s Curious Apothecary. Bring your own swag to create a unique, one-of-a-kind printed item, such as a T-shirt or a tote bag. White handkerchiefs will also be provided.

  • Rainbow Social Media Challenge – Take a selfie during your Rockwell Museum experience inspired by the colors of the rainbow and share on social media using  #RockwellMuseum and  #SoFLXPride. Choose an artwork that features colors that inspire or represent you and how you feel. Add a caption about why the colors inspire you!
