“The thrill of finding new stones, new shapes, and weaving colors together makes me look forward to my work every single day.” –Jeweler, Mary Salazar
The Museum Store will feature the jewelry of artist Mary Salazar from November 28 to December 31, 2014.
Mary Salazar grew up in Chicago, but longed for the West at an early age. She was attracted to the vast skies, open spaces, and rich colors of New Mexico and now creates one-of-a-kind contemporary Southwestern necklaces, earrings, and bracelets.
Salazar’s jewelry has been showcased in luxury resorts all over the world. Her work has been offered in the Sundance catalog for the last seven years, as well as the Smithsonian and Gilcrease Museums.
