    Continuing this spirited tradition at The Rockwell Museum, The Gingerbread Invitational is an artful competition and exhibition with a focus on historic landmarks and architecture of Corning and the surrounding region – in gingerbread! 

    2015 First Place Winner

    Shall we say they "Took The Cake?" Amber Colby of Cuse Cakes & Family took home the trophy with their depiction of Historic Charlotte-Genesee Lighthouse

    2015 Second Place & Community Choice Award Winner

    Watkins Glen State Park - South Pavilion by Ladonna Costello took both Second Place with the judges AND The Community Choice Award (by a landslide)!

    2015 Third Place Winners

    Team "#allthegingerbreads" took Third Place with First Presbyterian Church in Bath NY: A Sugar Study

    Teams of gingerbread enthusiasts and community members like you have built our region’s beloved parks, community centers, museums and more! Find these amazing creations scattered throughout The Rockwell starting November 22, 2016 through January 2, 2017.

    With the help of a panel of judges, we’ll award First-, Second-, and Third-place prizes, then guests will launch public voting for the Community Choice Award (winner announced in January 2017). Come dressed in your favorite sweater for sweet treats and holiday fun!
