The Rockwell Celebrates GlassFest 2015

Memorial Day in Corning means GlassFest! The sixth annual GlassFest is a celebration of glass and the fire arts in America’s Crystal City, and The Rockwell can’t help but get on board with all the festivities. Join us for one or all of the following activities throughout the weekend:

Friday, May 22 | GlassFest Wine Tastingwinetasting

Stop in at The Rockwell Museum as part of the Glass Fest Finger Lakes Wine & Craft Beer Tasting! We’ll be hosting Idol Ridge of Lodi, Ny on Seneca Lake – Idol Ridge Winery specializes in using European vinifera grape varieties along with some premium Cornell hybrids.

The tasting trail will feature over 30 wineries and breweries from New York’s Finger Lakes Region, complimentary shuttle service and collectible wine and beer glasses. Visitors age 21 and older are invited to celebrate a favorite tradition in our historic downtown! Learn more about the festival at www.GlassFest.org

Tarn_sliderAll Weekend | Contemporary Glass of the Pacific Northwest

This exhibition features four American glass artists on the cutting edge of society — they speak about what is going on in our world in a way that most of us are not able to, and they go places that are sometimes difficult to go. The Traver Gallery strives to go there with them—to allow them to lead all of us us to new and interesting territories. This is your last chance to view this celebratory display.
